Now an Organ Major!

After a couple years studying Business Finance at Washburn University, Will has decided that the only thing in the world that really makes him happy is teaching music and playing the Organ.

So that's just what he's going to do!

A few days ago, Will began the process of switching his Major to Organ Performance.  There's not a whole lot of money in the music field, but there is a whole lot of joy for Will.

He loves teaching everyone in his studio, and looks forward to the time when he can expand his studio to include more piano students and teach more days of the week.

Along with this new Major, Will has other plans to build multiple streams of income, such as real estate investing and possibly opening a music store.  In the future, Will would like to found a Midwest Conservatory of the Arts that will attract great musicians to this part of the country and enrich the culture of Northeast Kansas.

Thank you so much for being part of Will's great dream to spread music everywhere.  You, as his students, have inspired him to follow his dreams, and brought a smile to his face every time you attend.

Thank you for being part of the R. William Kubie Music Studio!

WELCOME!

Thank you for visiting my Blog!  I'm a very busy guy:  I work a full time job and go to Washburn University part time, as well as teach piano, play organ every Sunday for my church congregation, and somehow manage to kiss my wife every now and then! (Although she often has to remind me to do that!)  Needless to say, I won't be writing blog posts very often.

My wife Krista, however, LOVES to blog, make videos for me and constantly remind me of my chocolate donut habit by snapping pictures of me stuffing my face just so that YOU can witness the indulgence.  I hope you like the little window into my life.  :)  From time to time, she may write a thing or two on this blog.

Next to my sweet wife, Music is what I live for.  I love to teach and conduct and perform, and I would be delighted to work with you or members of your family.

I hope this blog will not only let you know my availability, events and policies, but give you a taste of who I am and how fun my life is.  If you like what you see, hear or read please Subscribe to my blog, "Friend" me on Facebook, or "Subscribe" to ~Organ Dork~ my YouTube Channel.  Feel free to pass it on to your friends and family.

I love making new friends who love music, chocolate donuts and silliness.

See you soon!

~ Will
